Finally, finally Yuu and Miki got together and STAYED together. This was a cute, nice, sometimes tearful, sweet anime that tells the love story of Miki and Yuu, whose parents switch partners and live together under one roof.
I enjoyed it sometimes much, sometimes a lot and sometimes it killed just my time, but alltogether worth watching. If you're a fan don't miss the OVA episode. This post was edited bykikichi (73819) on 10.05.2011 11:24.
If you want to see what a triangle looks like, this anime is for YOU! Because there's lots of them here. They're everywhere, usually as delusions in Miki's head, but there are real ones as well. Triangles here, triangles there, triangles, triangles... I.. I think I'm getting sick just thinking about it...
Basically, I got tired of all that unnecessary drama and Miki's annoying whining halfway through and dropped it, but I probably would've given it something close to or exactly a 3 if I had finished it.
I'll imagine that it ended with Miki and Meiko getting together, because even if it is an imaginary pairing, it's the only one that didn't piss me off (or didn't get the chance to).

So, what sort of triangles? Right-angled ones? Scalene?
Hmm, they're all scalene triangles I think. Usually at least 2 corners want nothing to do with each other, so they're far apart, and one of them is closer to the 3rd one than the other. The types change all the time though, so there may be cases of right-angled, isosceles and yes, even equilateral triangles.
This Anime is very Funny and sweet and romantic. Miki and Yuu are so different from each other but love each other very much. I enjoyed this Anime up to episode 50 where Yuu decides to go do an Exchange Programm to America. I hated him for leavinh Miki Alone! That's where it became hard for me to keep my attention to the anime, because even in America it was about Love TRiangles. In my opinion they made the anime a little too long with too much of the same stuff because its always about love triangles and about miki getting insecure...but overall it's worth watching it!
It was my first romance anime I've ever watched... I loved it... but to be honest, this anime is more for people who want to see how love triangles look like... if you're interested in those things, this anime is for you!
Sweet anime, BUT: Make no mistake, if you expect something realistic, this is probably the very anime you do NOT want to watch.
For example: If the characters simply would have talked to one another, about 99.99999% of ALL problems and sad happenings in this anime would never have happened.
There are romance anime where people have issues or other problems and cannot talk to each other. But this anime is nothing like that. The characters just DO NOT TALK, but they want to, but simply don't It goes as far as to their closest family members. After suffering away because they do not talk to one another, they suffer even more because of something related to persons very close to them.
The could simply talk to the persons in question, it would take about 30 seconds and all would be discussed and issues resolved. They are all a happy family that shares everything, complete hones family happiness, even to an almost absurd level. Also - there's even the chance that there is no issue at all. BUT - they don't talk about it. Instead the characters decide to make life-altering future changing decisions, without asking the persons in question if these actions are at all required.
Note that something like that absolutely cannot, will not and has never happened in reality, because every (healthy) person alive, would simply talk to the persons in question. The ONLY way this could happen was if the persons in question would have died and are therefore no longer around to answer the questions. After having watched this anime, there is absolutely no way you could disagree except saying that you love the anime anyway, which is fine - but no argument against it.
Here a simple question which spoilers a part of the problem and tells you whether you would find this anime's problems realistic. If you answer with 'B' you will probably be a bit annoyed with some of the character's decisions in this anime:
You live together with your absolute loving parents and you have the perfect relation ship between your parents and yourself. The same holds true for your girlfriend and her parents.
Now you hear the information that there is a very very very small chance that you may be half-siblings. What do you do:
A: Run away from life and everyone you know with your girlfriend but in the end come back to face the harsh penalty of society for this incestuous relationship. B: Actually ask your parents if you are brother and sister
Don't get me wrong - if this wouldn't be the case, this would probably be one of the best most heart warming romance anime out there. Especially the classical style makes it very sweet. But as mentioned, nearly all problems are completely superfluous and artificial and as unrealistic as it can get. The first third of the anime is absolutely fantastic though, which makes it even harder to bare these failed tragedy elements in the rest.
The anime would have probably been way better if it had only about 25 up to 50 episodes (leaving out the forced superfluous suffering parts resulting from random non-communication).
