That's because she's called Horo. Don't know exactly who messed up, but anything not Horo is wrong. If you care, the guy isn't called Lawrence either. His name is Lorenz.
I watched the anime without subs and it's pretty clear from the voice actors, that Horo and Lorenz are the correct names. Also, this makes sense because the characters live in a german speaking place. Lawrence isn't a german name. Lorenz is.
It's not just Holo. A few other characters names with an L are misspelled with an R instead.
