Ah, i always wanted to play rengou vs zaft II, i just don't have a Japanese PS2
The only version i played is a imported Rengou vs Zaft Portable on the PSP
Really loved it, and the gameplay is timeless!
Rewatching Gundam Seed for the 4th time
No worries, the PSP version plays about the same and still keeps the 60fps (like the recent Gundam VS Gundam). Never played it but saw a friend of mine playing it and it should just be slightly worse.
You could import the PS2 version and buy a 80GB PS3 (which is region-free like the PSP, as you should know) but then there´s a (kinda) better option which is to get Dynasty Warrriors: Gundam 2 (jap version, cause the 2nd game doesn´t have dual language) which can be kinda hard to play, but it´s the best version unless you own a japanese Xbox 360, which is... kinda pointless for various reasons (none of them being 'cause it sucks').

Yay for this club, i also happened to play GSD: Rengou vs. Z.A.F.T. II Plus a lot (couldn´t unlock Strike Freedom on story mode though, most of the post-story missions were too hard) and still have to actually play Generation of C.E. (which should be addicting to an extent, from what i saw in youtube) though re-watching Gundam Seed for like the 6th time probably comes first^^
