Okay, I watched the promotion and then I was all "Man, what the heck is this stupid show?" but I decided the only way to judge it was to watch the first episode. I kept thinking "man what a waste f time" and yet it's one of those animes that I just couldn't stop watching until the end.
ANIMATION:
Animation was choppy and the characters all looked a little "off", especially with the differing eye styles used between characters, even though that was an elmement of the story. 6/10. it could have been better.
SOUND:
Sound was decent but BGM was constantly recycled and so on...basically it was awful EXCEPT I'll give it back points because the character voices were so well selected.
STORY:
Despite the slow down of the story in the middle episodes for character development, the story is good enough to keep you watching. I'm really not one for vampire shows but this was simply entertaining.
CHARACTER:
As far as I'm concerned, All the characters were well written for except the vampire hunters who were slightly unrealistic, however they were still a vital part of the story. Overall, a 7/10. It could have been better but character development is often what you watched the show for.
VALUE:
Value...Now, in the end, everything more or less worked out...you'll see if you watch it. It's a decent series, it's worth the 12 hours especially if you like romance.
ENJOYMENT:
Okay, IF you're looking for a vampire flick, this isn't it. sure there is lots of blood, and some vampire blood sucking action, but really the story revolves around being a love comedy. And it's good at that. My advice is this: If you like romance and don't mind seeing blood and a very small bit of violence, this is great. however if you don't like blood then you shouldn't watch it, if you'r looking for SERIOUS romance, also don't watch it (there is a pit portion of comedy in here) and finally the series has quite a bit of ECCHI, so watch out. Karin herself makes a few appearances that scream fanservice, especially in the later episodes. I wouldn't show it to kids but I wouldn't reccommend it for older ages either...one of those weird in-betweeners.
Overall it's good. Not "segoi" like KGNE or futakoi, but it's a good romance comedy. I'd reccommend it to anyone who likes vampires and is sick of the usual vampire plotlines.
