* Adaptation ofMarvel ComicsTomb of Dracula comic book series.

In contemporary Boston,Dracula gate-crashes a Satanic ritual and makes off with the intended sacrifice, Dolores. Overcome with love for her, he is unable to drink her blood and instead settles down with her and fathers a child, Janus. But Dracula's enemies are massing against him - a team of vampire hunters, including the wheelchair-bound professor Hans Harker, his crossbow-wielding assistant Rachel van Helsing, a dog named Elijah, and new recruit Frank Drake, a descendant of Dracula, are closing in. Moreover, Dracula has been stripped of his vampire powers by Satan, and now he desperately needs another vampire to restore his powers so that he can both see off the vampire hunters and strike back at the vengeful Satanists pursuing his family.

I go with majority of recommendation. A B-Movie that dosen't make much sense serve with an comic book style (as it's based on one) and funky disco music. Entertaning but not really that recommended!

This movie is hilariously nonsensical and terribly animated, a real blast with friends!

This is quite possibly the best worst anime ever made. Recommended for B-movie fans.

*Long sigh* *drinks a bottle of beer* I am about to review Dracula, Sovereign of the Damned and I'm gonna need every kind of help just to get through this pile of shit... and hell, it's not gonna any easy at all... I mean, I would rather review a dick on a stick. LOL, I just made a LFG reference xD (Richard For The Win!!!)

Back in the 70's, superhero comic books have lost their charm from the 60's, so most of the companies, such as Marvel turned to other genres, like the horror. From there, Marvel released Ghost Rider, Simon Garth the Zombie and Tomb of Dracula. We gonna talk about the last one, since this OVA is based on that title. As you can predict, Tomb of Dracula has to do with Count Dracula and vampirism and all this occult stuff (and no superheroes on the horizon...). What it gave us is one of the best horror titles and a character that now has gained fame from his trilogy of movies: Blade the Vampire Hunter. Yes, we are talking about the same Blade who was played by Wesley Snipes. If you don't believe me, Google it (or check Marvel Ultimate Alliance, since he is a playable character, and his 1st appearance is on Tomb of Dracula #10). And now, I suppose that, saying this, you will be expecting him to be in the OVA. Well, guess what... You are wrong... I guess they didn't expect the success of Blade back in the 80's (hell, even Wolfmav, his creator, didn't expect it either)... Even if he was included, it would still suck monkey balls.

*drinks a bottle of beer*

Let's start with the animation. One word: Sucks. It's old (and doesn't hide it) and it doesn't have much of motion. It was like the animators were bored. The backgrounds were dull and really didn't give me much of an impression. The characters aren't well made either. not much of movement, and emotion. Found them again dull and uninspired. Since it wasn't aimed for TV at all, at least put some fucking effort on it! Every OVA I've seen has good animation. Was it hard to do that?

Now, to story. Since many people in Europe know about Dracula and how he can be killed, he left to America, where vampires are just stories to scare the kids. There, in Boston, he kidnaps a girl that was supposed to be offered by a satanist cult to Satan as his bride and instead of sucking her blood as the vampire he is, he falls in love with her. In the meantime, a group of vampire hunters, descedants of Harker and Van Helsing (from the Stoker's Dracula novel) who hunted down Dracula and were killed, recruits Drake, one of Dracula's offsprings to get rid of him for once and for all. It's not like it gets an Oscar for its story, but for a 90 minutes features, it's not well developed.

This is now the part that I hate the most, so excuse me for a minute... *meditates for 3 days* Let's do this... We are gonna talk about its sound. I don't even want to... It's even worse than the animation. It has some of the worst voice acting I've ever heard in my life. I've heard fandubs better than this. It was like they picked some random people who were just minding their own business, and got the job just for the money. The sound effects are bad too.

It has no value at all. It's so bad, that it's good (like Megashark Vs Giant Octupus... that much), for that reason you might watch it (if anyone does... I pity that foo' x) ).

CONCLUSION: It's not worthy downloading. Watch it on Youtube... if you want.

SUGGESTIONS:

Anime:
* Hellsing: When you talk vampires in anime, look no further. Simply one of the best vampire anime of all times. Its OVA series (Hellsing Ultimate) is even better.
* Vampire Knight: Another good vampire anime. It's more like Twilight: human girl-vampire boy romance.
* Tsukihime: A great horror vampire anime.

Other Media:
* Tomb of Dracula (comic book): The comic book story that is based of. Best horror comic book series, in my opinion. It has, as said above, Blade the Vampire Hunter.
* Underworld (movie): Awesome trilogy of movies that deals with the classic vampire-werewolf war.
* Vampire The Masquarade (Tabletop RPG): Play as a vampire in a world, much like ours, that's inhabitated of mages, werewolves, ghouls, ghosts and other supernatural things.

Now, excuse me, I have to deposit the trash...

*Throws Cpt America's shield to the OVA. The OVA is shattered in 5000 pieces.*
...And the Avengers doth claim another victory!!!
