Tsubasa becomes a superstar amongst soccer players in Brazil. He is now planning to play in Europe. At an important must-win game, as the fans cheer him on, Tsubasa looks back at the days when he started his soccer life. His passion to make goals and win the game is as strong as it was during his childhood. He recalls the games and moments that had decisive impact on his life. He remembers Goalkeeper Wakabayashi, Genius striker Hyuga, tenderhearted Misaki and Coach Roberto. He was happy to meet them, enjoyed playing with them, and learned many things from them. The whistle sounds and the game begins. Tsubasa dashes for the ball!

A must watch for sports fans. This is the soccer anime where all modern animes start. If you enjoy sports anime, have seen major or whistle then stop reading this and watch this series now.

It's one of the best in sports anime. Tsubasa is the childhood hero of me and watching these series almost took me the old days. Also who calls this anime a "soccer" anime is an idiot. Everyone knows this game is called "FOOTBALL" A game played with "FOOT"
must see

Captain Tsubasa is one of my childhood must see series, and this new series bring back the dreams.

Animation:
With a new style of animation, far more perfect than others, the movements are more fluid, the design of faces is also good with more then average facial expressions.

I'll give 9/10.

Story:
The big first group of episodes is a remake of the all other old series, with the diference that the football matches don't last for five or six episodes, ending in one or two.
The second part is a new story, with Tsubasa in Spain, Hyuga and Shingo Ao in Italy, Wakabayashi in Germany and Misaki in France; and tells the problems that Tsubasa e Hyuga had in their new teams and how they surpass them. A must see to all fans.

I would gave a 10 but the "not ending" final take some value then its a 9/10

Sound:
It's quite nice, not to lame, but at same time not the best, it's good but not more than that, the op/ed are nice, i kind like them, but could be better.

Only 7/10

Character:
Just like the old series but in a more realist way, nothing more to say, just a 9/10.

Value and Enjoyment:
For any Tsubasa fan this serie is a must have, and will remember everyone about that little boy who has a dream of becoming the world best player e take Japan to the World Cup.

A 10/10 for each category.

Since I´m a big fan of the previous Series of Captain Tsubasa, I just had to watch this one aswell, and let me tell you, it´s worth watching!

At first, i was a little bit skeptical about the 3D-Animated Ball, but that wasn´t a big deal fortunately.

For the Story, just like Captain Tsubasa, its start s from the very beginning.

All important matches are in, which brings me to something that i realy missed. Some Matches were just left. Example : Nankatsu Vs. Hanaba (Tachibana Brothers) and so on. Of Course, the final Matches are there ( Nankatsu Vs. Miewa/Toho)
For my suprise, it even had the Shin Captain Tsubasa series in it; National Youth Team of Japan
in a Tournament against Germany,Italy,Argentina, and France.

The real CT 2002 Story starts about Episode 35.

Tsubasa in Brazil, Hyuga in Italy, Misaki in France and Wakabayashi in Germany. Its not just around Tsubasa´s development anymore. In each Episode you see some scenes from at least 2 Characters, how they are doing, which is a very good thing, in my opinion.

Of course, they are still the legendary shoots like Drive Shoot, Tiger Shoot ect.

About the Animation: Just 2 Words = Well done.

Unfortunately, as the previous Series, this one ends with an "Opening Ending" aswell.
(On top of that at a very meaningfull moment -.- )
But I´ve heard rumors, that the Author is currently working on a new CT Series, called
Captain Tsubasa Go To 2006.

Last Statement : If you have watched the other Series of Ct and enjoyed it, watch this title aswell!

In the United States, this sport is known as soccer; the inappropriately titled "American" football is some kind of rugby for rugrats.,black hairThe character has black hair.,business suitThe business suit is a traditional Western-style business attire. For men, this usually consists of a jacket, worn over a collared shirt, with a matching pair of trousers and optional waistcoat vest. For women, this would usually be a jacket, worn over a blouse, with a matching skirt (commonly a pencil skirt) or trousers. Not to be confused with a blazer or sport coat.,scoutA scout is someone who performs reconnaissance duties.,shoulder-length hairShoulder-length hair is hair at shoulder length, within a few centimetres margin. This hair length is longer than what one would typically, though not always, see on most males. Short hair includes hair that goes no more than a centimetre or two beyond the chin; anything longer is shoulder-length. Typical male hair at the back of the head which reaches the shoulders does not count as shoulder-length hair; the individual hair strands are very short (0-4 cm), and therefore count as short hair.,sunglassesA form of protective eye-wear designed primarily to prevent bright sunlight from damaging or discomforting the eyes. Also used as a fashion detail. For practical tagging purposes, sunglasses should not be considered glasses; apply only the "sunglasses" tag for sunglasses, not both. However, a character who wears prescription glasses with dark lenses or who wears both eyewear types should take both tags.
