As anime comedies go, this is light, slight fare, designed to be easily digested and not all that challenging.

That said, this series is a heck of a lot of fun.

That it's easy not only to like Ami but to empathize with her frustration as these three incredibly bizarre creatures devote an inodirnate amount of time to making her life interesting helps enormously. It also helps that the AniYoko Trio are endaring even as their behavior causes all kinds of problems.

Maybe it's not one of those truly special series, but it's very enjoyable and the episodes stand up well to repeat viewings.
