I'm usually not a fan of anthropomorphism but this serie is an exeption. Space Saggitarius is definitly a Gem of the genre. Very good animation thanks to Nippon Animation, catchy soundtrack and most of all excellent character developpement. These animal fellow have more humanity and enjoyability than many real human conterpart and the best part is that they have realistic background and relationship. Well built story too. Even if the tone is usally comedic and a bit cartonish at time, it as occiasionnal pognant drama (like the last episodes). An most of all a lot of modern heavy theme are explore throught the series: Cold Wars, The Iron Curtain, Drug addiction, Genocide, Appartheid, eugenic and many more. The only flaw is the link between each arc that feel a little disjointed. All said it's a minor complaint and it's definitly very recommended!
