I love this series from season 1, and that was a MUST SEE. I would still watch this because I wanted to see how it wraps up the story. It is still fun, however, it is no longer base on actual real food recipes and cooking technique like season 1 & 2. A lot of things are just fake. Oh well, it is still good to see it ends.

Rushy final season but routinely reliable watch

Coming from how much I enjoyed S1 & S2, then the eventual downhill frm S3 onwards; the final season is really trashy
S5 rushes head first to finish up the story, skipping the joys of S1 S2 where focus was on cooking & dish which was absurd yet believable & gave a lot to be discovered. S5 just went wildly uncontrolable & with speed

Nonetheless, Souma is like a Japanese Diner. When u 1st discovered it, its full of surprises, lots of fancy dishes & stories from the regulars to discover
As u get regular there, u go in & don't expect Michelin food. U sit back relax, the atmosphere gets rowdy. U enjoy watching the regulars & overhearing their stories. The food arrives and its sometimes surprisingly good, but sometimes decent but always reliably enjoyable. Its a place of safe options and comfortable as u been there so many times

S5 was still fun enjoyable watch despite d rush & lost of focus. 6/10 and was great following this series!
