TagsmechaMecha in Japanese basically means mechanical things; everything from an electric whisk or a car to a spaceship or a robot. Here however we limit it to the more exotic things usually referred to as mecha anime: robots, whether controlled by a human or not, and their ilk.,militaryThe military, also known as the armed forces, are forces authorized and legally entitled to use deadly force so as to support the interests of the state and its citizens. The task of the military is usually defined as defence of the state and its citizens and the prosecution of war against foreign powers. The military may also have additional functions within a society, including construction, emergency services, social ceremonies, and guarding critical areas.,newNot based on anything, the story is a new work, usually made up by the people involved in creating the anime. Generally if an original work (原作) credit is given, it will be to the studio, or director, or other members of the production team.,science fictionScience fiction stories usually focus on how situations could be different in the future when we are more technologically advanced; due to either our own achievements or having met with other civilizations whom we have learned from. -[similar]

I think the show is actually pretty bad but I also think the music is pretty good

If you like lots of mecha action with a thin plot then this is the show for you. If you are more interested in a good plot then rather steer clear.

Comet Lucifer had the elements to be interesting as the main male had the ability to summon a bad ass mecha, but the characters, plot, mecha and enjoyment were all average. This is for mecha fans.

I'd pass on this if I were you unless you're looking for some decent music to add to your anime collection. Thats about all i got out of this and a place for one of the worst anime I watched during 2018. I did really enjoy the music especially now after listening to it for a while. It has its moments but overall the characters, story and execution are all not worth the time especially if you're not into mecha which im not. Off the top of my head only mecha besides gundams ive ever really enjoyed is gurren lagann. So if you feel the same probably just another reason to stay away from this show.

[Art & Animation: 8/10]
The quality of the art of CL started off pretty strong and remained like that. Lines are sharp, colors are crisp and tones balanced. Also the backgrounds are pretty nice to look at. Good job studio 8-Bit.

[Sound: 8/10]
The anime feature many fight scenes which are pretty large scale with flying mecha and so on. During that scenes a very nice sound background was created. I'm listening with a proper surround system (11.3) and it was vivid and clear. I almost had the feeling to sit in the middle. Almost had to tune down. The voice acting was average on good standard. Nothing special. Nothing bad. The voices themselves fitted the characters.

[Story: 3/10]
Meh.. what should I say? Your average boy searches stuff, finds strange artefact, artefact becomes girl, love-love, I have to protect you. Nothing original. The pacing was weird and sometimes off and the usual rushed ending also happend with this. The only reason I sacrifice 3 of 10 is the pseudo environmental message ... which comes through here and there.

[Character: 3/10]
All, really all characters where depicted one-dimensonal. From the first to the last episode there was no development on them. Hardly any background which had something todo with the plot. Stupid reasonings. Things happen randomly without any explaination which in the end were either totally unimportant or so crucial that it would have been better to put more focus on them. Meh....

[Value: 3/10]
You can watch this anime if you like to see a good animation and listen to some nice fight sounds - don't expect something epic though. Aside from that the story misses originalilty to an extent which makes it hard to see real value. You won't learn anything from it, expect how rushed an ending can be.

[Enjoyment: 4/10]
It starts off well and declines which each episode. There was the rough feeling of potential with CL, but it was wasted and the ending utterly butchered all hopes, leaving you with the 'WTF happend' moment. The climax was deliberatly placed in the last episode and completly rushed. For me that killed at least 50% of all remaining enjoyment.

[ASP-Forecast: ~10%]
Personally I vote for 5/10 for this anime. It was neither good nor bad. At the end it there is nothing left expect to shake your head and move on to the next anime. So my predicition is that the probability for anoher season (ASP) for this anime is lower than 10%. Bye-Bye Comet Lucifer.

What is this shit?

The story is so boring and with terrible generic format. I'll be brief.

CAST: One-dimensional characters without ideals and pathetic purposes.

STORY: Meh, your typical MC copy paste with a loli who must protect because she is VEEEEEERY important, several villains are search to our loli and she must save with Sogo and a parlant stupid pet the earth. The principal fail with this show is ALL. First, villains are one-dimensional, characters cast are weak in presence and development. For example, you're watching a climax scene with mecha robots and good atmosphere but suddenly a stupit pet with silly voice change their appearance for a big robot.. seriously, i must say why this is stupid? This show have very extreme anti-climatic moments, poor characters wth nothing than highlight. Good animation, good atmosphere, good sound efects, HORRIBLE CHARACTER CAST AND GENERIC STORY.

glasses(1)Glasses (also called eyeglasses or spectacles) are frames bearing lenses worn in front of the eyes, normally for vision correction, eye protection, or for protection from UV rays. However, a character who wears prescription glasses with dark lenses or who wears both eyewear types should take both tags.headset(1)A headset is headphones combined with a microphone, or one headphone with a microphone. A wireless or Bluetooth earpiece is a single-ear device that does not go over the head, containing both an earphone and a microphone in a compact unit.wheelchair(1)A wheelchair is a chair with wheels, designed to be a replacement for walking.

clothingClothing is fiber and textile material worn on the body.

For comparison, half-boots are generally fall within the same length range as trouser socks. Generally, crew length and shorter boots are just referred to as boots, whereas longer boots are knee boots and higher.high heels(2)High heels are a type of shoe in which the heel, compared to the toe, is significantly higher off of the ground. These shoes make the wearer taller, accentuating the calf muscle and the length of the leg overall. There are many types of high heels, which come in different styles, colours, and materials, and can be found all over the world. They have significant cultural and fashionable meanings attached to them, which have been largely shaped by historical contexts over the past thousand years.jacket(1)A jacket is a waist or shorter length garment for the upper body, used as both indoor wear and outerwear. A jacket typically has sleeves, and fastens in the front or slightly on the side. A jacket is generally lighter, tighter-fitting, and less insulating than a coat, which is exclusively outerwear. Some jackets are fashionable, while others serve as protective clothing. Jackets without sleeves are vests. Outerwear longer than waist-length is a coat.pantyhose(1)Pantyhose are sheer, close-fitting legwear, covering the body from the waist to the feet.short shorts(1)Short shorts, or cut-offs, are shorts that are cut very high on the leg. They have an inseam of just a few inches, or even less.thighhighs(1)Thighhighs or stockings are a close-fitting, variously elastic hosiery piece that fully cover and extend above the knees, or partly cover the knees, leaving only the thigh area exposed. Generally, "thighhighs" refers to stockings that stay up by the use of built-in elastic. In contrast, "stockings" is the general term and/or refers to the kind of stockings that need a suspender belt / garter belt. Hosiery that rise up to, but not including, the knee, or slightly thereunder, are knee highs.
