In the near future a woman namedOkamura Aya, orAa-chan, has been working for two years and has begun living on her own for a job opportunity. With Aa-chan's mother working overseas as a doctor, Aa-chan's fatherKouji is now living alone with the family's long-time pet catMii-san. One night, Aa-chan returns from a long day at work, and as she rests on her bed, she reminiscences about the times the family had together. She remembers the sadness she felt when her mother went overseas, and the solace she felt when her father brought home Mii-san to give her comfort. Then, she receives a phone call...

Well, if you know the director, you know that 6 minutes of your life couldn't be better spent. If you don't know his work, then, well, just stop whatever you're doing and see how art is done.

For being a 6 minute movie, its actually very good, it makes you appreciate your parents. Visuals are great, characters are good and plot is solid. I recommend watching this little movie.
