Career[]
Song moved to Los Angeles, California at the age of six to support her budding acting career, with the remainder of her family following along two years later.
Her first success in show business was in commercials, starring in Little Caesars and Barbie commercials. It wasn't until 2000 when she gained more recognition by signing a contract with Disney to appear in the movieThe Ultimate Christmas Present. She later appeared in numerous other Disney Channel movies and shows, and landing her big screen leading role inLike Mike before rising to fame as London Tipton inThe Suite Life of Zack & Cody and its sequel series,The Suite Life on Deck.
She also appeared in the Disney Channel Original MoviesGet a Clue,Stuck in the Suburbs, andWendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior. She also played roles in various other movies such asThe Social Network andSecret Obsession.
Since then, she's branched out to other networks, yet still stayed close to her Disney roots.
