Clint Cantwell is President of AmazingRibs.com, charged with managing the day-to-day operations, creating recipes, writing articles, shooting photos, and a little bit of everything else!
With a passion for all things barbecue and grilling, Cantwell has been named one of the “10 Faces of Memphis Barbecue” by Memphis Magazine and was the winner of the Travel Channel’s “American Grilled” nationwide cooking competition series. He joined the AmazingRibs.com in 2016, coming over fromKingsford.com (formerly Grilling.com) where he served as editor for several years. He also ran his own successful blog,Grillocracy.com; was a special contributor toTheDailyMeal.com; and has been regularly featured in a variety of high-profile media outlets including frequent cooking demos on local and national television networks. He is also an award-winning pitmaster of the Smoke In Da Eye competition barbecue and grilling team.
From his childhood in Texas to several years spent in Kansas City, Wisconsin, New Orleans, and New York, Cantwell’s passion for barbecue and grilling runs deep as he travels the country in search of the people, places, and tastes that define our shared grilling culture.
He lives just outside of Memphis along with his wife, three children, and Charcoal the dog, sharing his grilling ideas, experiences, recipes, tips, techniques, and more. You can follow him here:
