A downloadable tool for Windows and macOS
This is the next version of QasarBeach. Called Alias as it uses it's new audio engine to not hide any aliasing or sound errors. This is in keeping with the original 8bit and later 16bit sound techniques developed at Fairlight.
This is currently a work in progress but is being shared so people can feedback any bugs/suggestions, etc during the dev process.
The core concept was to envision what Fairlight might have done if a CMI IV was produced.

Hi Adam I love all your work re this CMI..look for all the great updates again I ask can we have an external sync clock source? meaning I can slave this to my daw such as logic audio ...I so want this and cant quite understand the rationale behind not doing it? surely it cant be so hard? awaiting your reply thanks simon.
Hi Adam I'm thinking of building an i9 rack mounted PC and setting it up as a dedicated Qasar Beach system, BUT....I plan to have16 audio outputs. Could Qasar Beach run two of these https://www.gear4music.com/Recording-and-Computers/Tascam-US-16x08-Audio-Interfa... ?
If you could, it would give us a CMI for UNDER $2000!
Adam. Any plans for a LINUX version? Very much wish to run this on an industrial touch-screen machine that was set-up dedicated to QuasarBeach.
Additionally, any plans for multi-output support? Specifically JACK / Core Audio?
Are you open to code contributions or better yet an open-source version of the projects?
Great work here with both FL emu's! A few questions if I may...
Does this alias emu have separate audio outs for the voices in the mixer section ?
Can alias use the same full original fairlight sample library as the CMI IIx emu (qasarbeach)?
Is there an alternate opening logo page that sports the original Fairlight logo?
What are the MAIN differences between alias and qasarbeach?
