Two pieces inspired by Fernand Deligny's essay, The Arachnean. A reflection on utopian ways of being autistic and autistic ways of being utopian, as seen on the rippled surface of water dancing in a stone basin somewhere in the foothills of the Cévennes.
These pieces were commissioned by Cassandra Gillig and The Poetry Project for the Utopian Research & Development Summit. They are intended for use during poetic freewriting sessions, but like Deligny I want to challenge the boundaries of language (and of use). Here is my attempt.
Album art is a digital collage based on the drawings of Fernand Deligny and an aerial photograph of the Cévennes.
