Apple preps native Claude integration on Xcode

Towards the end of this year’s WWDC keynote,Craig Federighi said that Apple had “expanded” their vision for Swift Assist, and would bring native integration with ChatGPT, alongside support for other LLMs via API, directly to Xcode. Beyond ChatGPT: Xcode 26 will support multiple AI models, like Claude

Last Monday, towards the end of the WWDC25 keynote, Craig Federighi said that Apple had “expanded” its vision for Swift Assist, and it would now allow developers to bring their Large Language Model of choice directly to Xcode.

Xcode 26 beta includes new ‘Apple Vision Pro 4K’ simulator
Apple held itsWWDC25 keynote yesterday, where it announced a new suite of software updates for iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, watchOS, and visionOS – all under the new version numbering umbrella of ’26’. A new suite of OS releases comes with a new version of Xcode, which also falls under the new 26 naming umbrella.
In the first beta of Xcode 26, the developer tool used to build apps for these new operating systems, Apple now includes a new ‘Vision Pro 4K’ simulator.

‘Skip’ is a new tool to bring iOS apps to Android

Apple on Tuesday sent a reminder to developers about an upcoming change in the requirements for submitting apps to the App Store. Starting April 25, 2022, all apps created for Apple’s platforms must be built with Xcode 13 – the latest version of the SDK available.
