Thislatest Pixel drop brought one of my biggest fears to Android: notification summaries. It’s something Apple botched in iOS 18 last year, and something I didn’t feel like Android needed given its top-tier notification management. After a week with the feature, though, I’m of two minds. Google is definitely doing this the “right” way, but does that mean I’m likely to leave this tool enabled for weeks to come? Unfortunately, not quite.

Since Google introduced Pixel VIPsin June, the widget has become the primary way I message and call people. I use it multiple times throughout the day and it’s close to entering my first homescreen.

You can already get Pixel phones at a huge discount for Black Friday 2025, but Google is also offering some deep discounts on its official Pixel cases, watch bands, and some other accessories through Amazon.

Apple has had iPhone owners trapped within its walled garden for years, with many genuinely not knowing what lies beyond that ecosystem. But Google has been working over the past few years to poke some holes in that wall, and its latest move in bringing AirDrop compatibility to Android Quick Share is just another reminder of how things are getting better. But… is anyone actually switching?

Google today released new October builds for the Pixel 7-10 series, with Verizon shedding some light on what this update brings.

If there’s one thing Google is good at with Pixel, it’s color. This year, “Indigo” is the standout color, even if it’s not on the flagship series, and my new Pixel Watch band reminded me just how good “Indigo” is.

Google is aware of a vulnerability that’s able to steal data from apps that are generally considered secure like Authenticator or Signal, using a new technique called “Pixnapping.” The vulnerability has been effective on several Google Pixel device models, as well as Samsung Galaxy devices.
