Hip-Hop Tours Taking Place This Year
Touring has been the lifeblood for many hip-hop artists over the years as it gives them the opportunity to get in front of their fan base, promote new music and stack some coin in the process. Following a lull after the pandemic, live shows have been back in full swing and 2025 looks to be a big year to see some of your favorite rappers live and in the flesh.
Coming off his 2024 album,GNX, Kendrick Lamar is spending the majority of the year on the Grand National Tour with former labemate SZA. The massive jaunt is breaking records and will continue through December.
After being freed from prison and receiving a presidential pardon,YoungBoy Never Broke Again is hitting the road for the first time in five years on the MASA Tour, a 45-city trek that will find YB touching down in Denver, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Detroit, Miami, Atlanta, Houston and more, before wrapping on Nov. 12 in Seattle.
Playboi Carti is also giving his rabid fanbase and chance to see him live after releasing his highly anticipatedMusic album earlier this year. In October, he is taking the entire Opium crew on the Antagonist 2.0 Tour. Other big acts hitting the road in 2025 include Doja Cat (Ma Vi Tour) and more.
Some artists have already wrapped up major tours, including Chris Brown, Tyler, The Creator, Lil Wayne, Clipse, ScHoolboy Q, Cordae and others.Cardi B is getting the jump on 2026 by announcing in September that she is going on tour to promote her sophomore album, Am I The Drama?,next year.
