Three Centuries Strong
On February 8, 1693, King William III and Queen Mary II of England issued a Royal Charter to establish "The College of William and Mary in Virginia."
From the Wren Building’s construction in 1695 to graduating students ringing its bell every year, William & Mary has a deep history with many traditions that are still around today.
