WMLP (1380AM) is acommercialradio stationlicensed toMilton, Pennsylvania. The station is owned by the Michael Radio Company, LLC, headed by Vic Michael.[3] It broadcasts aconservative talk radioformat. Most of programming is from theSalem Radio Network, also carryingThe Mark Levin Show fromWestwood One.

By day, WMLP is powered at 1,000wattsnon-directional. But at night, to protect other stations on1380 AM from interference, WMLP greatly reduces power to 18 watts. Programming is also heard on 99-wattFM translatorW233CP at 94.5MHz.

History

The stationsigned on the air on October 22, 1955; 69 years ago (1955-10-22). It originally was adaytimer, required to go off the air at sunset. In 1967, it added an FM station, 100.9 WMLP-FM.[4] Today that station isWVLY-FM.

Vic Michael acquired 1380 WMLP from Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation on February 21, 2020.
