@asilvering: i am banned from post-1992 usa politics. this means that i cannot edit on the topics of american socioeconomic policies, its political figures, its foreign relations, and so on.

i am also banned from gender-related disputes. perarbcom's clarifications, this means that i cannot edit on the topics of disputes regarding the proper article title, pronoun usage, or other manner of referring to transgender people; and discussions regarding systemic bias faced by female editors or article subjects on wikipedia.ltbdl (talk)03:35, 13 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I really don't see the harm in allowing her back with a one-account restriction and a resumption of the earlier topic bans, but I didn't have to deal with any of the sockpuppetry and I know I'm much more sympathetic to the "I was a dumbass and I'm sorry" genre of block appeal than many. Disclosure: ltbdl is active on the wikimedia community discord server, and I may or may not have said something to the effect of "please just get your ass unbanned already". @Ltbdl It boils down tothis post, although you should take time to read through all of them. People are having trouble understanding why you acted disruptively in the first place and what led to your decision to change and request an unblock.

They need to know the background events and your mindset before they can properly consider your appeal.
