    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I no longer actively edit the English Wikipedia. When I did (2006-2024), I mostly worked on articles aboutarchaeology and biographies of scientists. I was also anadministrator and elected to theArbitration Committee for 2019 and 2020. My behind-the-scenes work focused onpreserving good content andencouraging new editors, which led me tonew page patrol, articles for deletion, anddispute resolution. I have twoalternate accounts:Joe Roe (mobile) (talk ·contribs) for when I'm travelling andJoe Robot (talk ·contribs) forsemi-automated edits.

The remainder of this page lists some of the things I worked on. If you want to get in touch or see what I'm currently working on, seemy homepage.

    • What a Brilliant Idea Barnstar hank you for coming up with the idea forAdministrative action review and seeing it through the RfC process. Not only is it a solution to a concrete gap in our review processes,it promises cultural change by challenging the equation of sysop and administrator.
