    Articles I've created

    [edit]

I started creating articles on Wikipedia when I discovered that Wikipedia entries didn't exist for some of the subjects I'm interested in. I found myself saying "Somebody ought to create a Wikipedia article on that" and then realised that the "somebody" was probably going to be me.

My interests are wide and, thanks to Wikipedia, ever-expanding. They include:folk music; the novels of Brian Moore; and church buildings and other places of interest in theLondon Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames. I've now ensured that all the places of worship in Richmond upon Thames, except for those that meet in non-traditional buildings, have their own individual listing on Wikipedia.

My first article was on singer-songwriterBelinda O'Hooley; I've since transferred much of the original content to the articleO'Hooley & Tidow.

My 100th article is aboutQueen Elizabeth's Almshouses, inRichmond, London.

My 250th article is onThanet & District Reform Synagogue‎ inRamsgate,Kent.

My 300th article is on the British writer and theatre criticHolly Williams, whose article I created.

My 40,000th edit was onList of people from the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.

My 50,000th edit, in April 2019, was on the English folk singer and double-bassistMiranda Sykes, whose article I created.

My 60,000th edit, in June 2020, was onNew Stoke Newington Shul, an article I created.

My 90,000th edit, in November 2023, was on Irish writer and literary criticDenis Sampson, whose article I created.

My 100,000th edit, in February 2025, was on Britishadvice columnist and novelistClaire Rayner.
