Greg Collver is a retired computer programmer. He is interested in education and technology.

One of his early mentors was Philip Ryan, aComputer Science teacher atSouthwestern Oregon Community College. Ryan was the author of "It's A Small, Small World".

Another mentor and friend was his mathematics teacher at North Bend High School, William McGuire.

He was profoundly influenced by these books:
