Uşak (Turkish:Uşak ili) is aprovince in westernTurkey. Its adjacent provinces areManisa to the west,Denizli to the south,Afyon to the east, andKütahya to the north. The provincial capital isUşak, and itslicence location code is 64. Its area is 5,555 km2,[2] and its population is 375,454 (2022).[1]

In August 2018, the province decided to stop running digital advertisement onUnited States based social media platforms likeFacebook,Google,Instagram,Twitter andYouTube canceling all of the budget as a response to the U.S. sanctions on Turkey. The U.S. sanctions were over the detention of thePastorAndrew Brunson.[3]
