Trudy was awestern lowland gorilla residing inLittle Rock, Arkansas, in theUnited States. She was estimated to have been born in 1956[1] or 1957[2] in the wild. Following the death ofColo in January 2017, she was theoldest known living gorilla in the world (together with German gorillaFatou),[2][1][3][4] reaching 63 years of age. She died the night of July 24, 2019.[5]
