Topik ortopig (Armenian:Թոփիկ) is anArmenian dish, sometimes thought of as a vegetarianmeatball, consisting of achickpea- based paste, usually mixed withpotatoes orflour, surrounding a filling ofonions,nuts, andcurrants, and flavored withherbs,spices, andtahini.

Topik is primarily aLenten dish^[1] and is often served atMichink (the middle ofLent).^{[citation needed]}
