Thomas Ice is an American theologian and author of books on biblical prophecy.

Education and career

Ice received his BA fromHoward Payne University in 1975, his masters in theology fromDallas Theological Seminary in 1981, and a PhD fromTyndale Theological Seminary in 1995.[1] He performed post-doctoral studies in church history at theUniversity of Wales.[2]

Ice is a proponent ofdispensational premillennialism.[3] He was the executive director of the Pre-Trib Research Center on the campus ofLiberty University inLynchburg,Virginia.[2][dubiousdiscuss] The research center was founded in 1994 byTim LaHaye and Ice to research, teach, proclaim, and defendpre-tribulationism.[2] The center currently sponsors prophecy meetings and conferences and provides speakers for the purpose of discussion and lecture on the topic of pre-tribulationism.[citation needed]

Ice has taught at Liberty University.[when?] He moved toCalvary University in 2018.[1] He lives inLee's Summit, Missouri, with his wife Janice.[2]
