{{User-generated source|date=December 2025}}
This is an inline citation cleanup template used inside<ref>...</ref> to flag a source as user-generated content (e.g. another wiki, acontent farm, or a user-editable database like IMDb—in other words, a crowdsourced reference), and thus potentially unreliable, perWP:Identifying reliable sources#User-generated content (WP:Verifiability#Self-published sources andWP:Neutral point of view are also relevant, but the template's link to goes to that anchor at the reliable sources guideline).
This template will categorize tagged articles intoCategory:Accuracy disputes.
To flag blocks of information as questionably sourced in this manner, useTemplate:User-generated inline, outside of<ref>...</ref>. For whole sections or articles, useTemplate:Self-published.
