Pronunciation

[edit]

Sorry - I hoped in the Talk tab to be able to just ask a question. How is it pronounced? I think we need an audio recording - or at minimum something showing how the parts of this word sound like parts of common words. I'm surprised I can't submit this only for behind-the-scenes talk. Must it be public?Caregiver 23:58, 25 April 2021‎ (UTC)

@Caregiver: I think we need such for all proto indo european deities. Please remember to sign your posts in the futureImmanuelle ❤️💚💙(please tag me)16:04, 2 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Article is too bloated

[edit]

This article is difficult to read as it is too bloated.

“ In addition, phraseological studies by linguist Olga A. Lyashchynskaya (be) recognize the incidence of the expression in Belarussian language: expression "спаць у сырой зямлі" ('to sleep in the damp earth') is a metaphor for death;[143] expression "ляжаць у сырой зямлі/зямельцы" ("to lie in the damp earth/ground") denotes a burial ("to be interred");[144] "ажаніцца з <сырою> зямлёй" ("to get married to the [moist] earth") means "to die".[145]”

So what? Yes people in north eastern Europe are buried in a damp Earth when they die.

That’s just one example. The article is full of meaningless / obvious statements.Gold333 (talk)14:28, 7 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

*DʰéǵʰōmDheghom – Name of the article doesn't seem to be much in use, is untypable and unrecognisable for most editors. Either "Dheghom" or sometimes "Dhéǵhōm" seems to be the standard way of indicating this word / concept in books[1].Fram (talk) 15:09, 5 December 2025 (UTC)— Relisting. Vestrian24Bio13:34, 12 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
