Sugar Honey Iced Tea is the thirdstudio album by American rapperLatto. It was released through Streamcut andRCA Records on August 9, 2024.[3] The album features guest appearances fromYoung Nudy,Hunxho,Coco Jones,Megan Thee Stallion,Ciara,Mariah the Scientist,Teezo Touchdown,Cardi B, andFlo Milli. It serves as the follow-up to her second studio album,777 (2022).
The album received generally positive reviews, and tied777 as her highest-charting album on the USBillboard 200, debuting at number fifteen. It was supported by five singles: "Put It on da Floor", "Sunday Service", "Big Mama", "Brokey", and "Blick Sum".
On June 22, 2024, Latto first teased the title of the album, while performing as a headliner at the Birthday Bash ATL 2024.[4] On July 24, she announced the release date of the album with a trailer video inspired by the film,ATL (2006), featuring cameos from fellowAtlanta-native rappers2 Chainz andT.I.[5] On July 26, she previewed the tracklist of the album with a picture of her left hand covering a piece of paper showing a possible tracklist with only a few songs revealed, one of which is the previously released single, "Big Mama".[6] She revealed the cover art of the album on July 30.[7] She shared the full tracklist on August 7.[8]
"Put It on da Floor" was released as the album's lead single on April 21, 2023.[9] The official remix, titled "Put It on da Floor Again", featuring American rapperCardi B, was released on June 1.[10] The remix peaked at number 13 on theBillboard Hot 100 chart.[11] "Sunday Service" was released the album's second single on February 9, 2024.[12] The officialremix of the song, featuring American rappersMegan Thee Stallion andFlo Milli, was released on June 7.[13] The song peaked at number 100 on theBillboard Hot 100 chart.[11] The album's third single, titled "Big Mama", was released on June 28.[14] The song peaked at number 92 on theBillboard Hot 100 chart.[11] "Brokey" was released as the fourth single from the album on August 27, 2024 and peaked at 84 on theBillboard Hot 100. "Blick Sum" was released as the album's fifth single on January 28, 2025; the single version featuresPlayboi Carti.[15]

According to the review aggregatorMetacritic,Sugar Honey Iced Tea received "generally favorable reviews" based on aweighted average score of 72 out of 100 from 5 critic scores.[16]
Writing forClash in a positive review, Robin Murray stated that "Sugar Honey Iced Tea paints in the finer details", describing the project as "a work of complexity that – when it clicks into place – might be her most potent release yet".[18]Rolling Stone's Mankaprr Conteh wrote that the album is "a careful ode to her Atlanta roots and life in the south broadly". Conteh praised how Latto's "top-notch bars flow through super smooth sequencing". Concluding her review, Conteh stated that "Latto shows she's more than a sex symbol" and that she's "charismatic, dexterous, and long prepared".[20] On the other hand, Vivian Medithi ofPitchfork wrote that Latto's "Southern charm gets lost in an abundance of anonymous beats".AllMusic's review stated that the Latto was "stepping up significantly from the sometimes personality-light commercial sounds of her earlier work" on the album.[17]
In the United States,Sugar Honey Iced Tea debuted at number fifteen on theBillboard 200 and number two on theTop R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, marking her highest peak on the chart with 29,000album-equivalent units.[21]
