Stephen Reid (30 May 1873 – 7 December 1948) was aScottish illustrator and painter who specialised in Georgian settings and costume pieces.

Born inAberdeen, he was educatedGray's School of Art and theRoyal Scottish Academy. He was elected to theRoyal Society of British Artists at the age of 33.[2] His early work was influenced byEdwin Austin Abbey.[3]
