(Jamie Howe pit reported this race for the last 2 years, which was the only Xfinity Series race she pit reported both of those years.) With Trevor Bayne being a color commentator for this race, David Ragan will take his place in the studio: https://x.com/FOXSportsPR/status/1796569569001422938/photo/1

Also, Jamie Little did play-by-play for the Xfinity Series for the first time in the race at Phoenix in March when Adam Alexander was on bereavement leave.

Fox has announced their Cup Series commentator lineup for next weekend's LA Clash and the commentators for the Mexico Series race at the Coliseum which they will broadcast: foxsports.com/presspass/blog/2024/01/26/fox-sports-debuts-new-nascar-cup-series-broadcast-booth-at-the-busch-light-clash-at-the-coliseum

  • curprev20:5720:57, 19 June 2023Cavanaughstalkcontribs5,680 bytes+173Fox had a new play-by-play for the ARCA race at Berlin this weekend: Brent Stover. He filled in for Jamie Little, who likely took the weekend off as it was the NASCAR off weekend (no explanation was given about her absence). I didn't know anything about Stover before listening to clips of the race. He does have an article and he's covered college football and basketball for CBS and it's summer now for college so he was available to call this race. This must've been his first time calling racing.

We'll have to see if he is in the studio for any other races this year. I think I only remember him being there for the Daytona 500 the last year or two filling in for McMurray who went to the track in-person for that race only: foxsports.com/presspass/blog/2023/02/03/fox-sports-unveils-expansive-2023-daytona-speedweeks-broadcaster-lineup-highlighted-by-networks-20th-daytona-500/

It was the second time both of them have pit reported an Xfinity Series race as Howe did last year's standalone race at Mid-Ohio and Sims did the race at Texas last month. Both of them pit report for the Truck and ARCA Series for Fox.

Also, Bayne appeared more frequently on Fox towards the end of the 2021 season (including filling in for Parsons on the Truck Series pre and post-race shows at Phoenix when Parsons was color commentating the race), so I'd consider him permanent with Fox (and not a guest commentator) at this point.

  • curprev06:2706:27, 7 September 2021Cavanaughstalkcontribs9,883 bytes+60Todd Bodine was a color commentator for the Truck race at Darlington last weekend instead of Kurt Busch (who was at the track for the Cup race on the same day when the booth broadcasters were calling the race from the Charlotte studio).
  • curprev05:5905:59, 7 September 2021Cavanaughstalkcontribs9,823 bytes+47Josh Sims, who previously worked for the local Fox station in Charlotte, was promoted to NASCAR on Fox in July and is a reporter for Race Hub and made his debut as a pit reporter in the Truck race at Darlington last weekend. Also, like myself, he's from New Jersey- pretty cool to see! It also looks like Walsh, who joined NASCAR on Fox in 2019 as another studio host for Race Hub, only is a commentator for Fox's NFL coverage now.
