Green at the 2010San Diego Comic-Con forFamily Guy

On the animated television comedyFamily Guy, Green primarily voicesChris Griffin, the teenage son, who is overweight, unintelligent and, in many respects, a younger version of his fatherPeter Griffin. He also voices Neil Goldman, a neighbor of the Griffins.[12] Green did an impression ofBuffalo Bill from the thriller filmThe Silence of the Lambs during his audition.[13] He has stated that his main inspiration for Chris' voice came from envisioning how Buffalo Bill would sound when speaking through apublic address system at aMcDonald's.[14]

Howard the Duck

Green provides the voice ofHoward the Duck for the live-actionMarvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) filmsGuardians of the Galaxy (2014) andVol. 2 (2017) and theDisney+ animated seriesWhat If...?, as well as theDisney XD animated seriesGuardians of the Galaxy (2015–2019) andUltimate Spider-Man (2016).[15][16][17][18]

Developing the character withJames Gunn, Green did an impression ofDanny DeVito, "being sort of a gruff and cynical sarcastic character [who] doesn't know what the Earth species of duck even is and doesn't think of himself that way and is offended by that generalization."[19][20][21][22]
