Saparda (orSparda), was an ancient land (720–670 BC), south ofZikirti, corresponding to the modernBijar area in northwesternIran.
At the time of theMedes andAssyrians, the former were dominated by the latter. About 670 BC,Dusanni, king of Sparda, joined the rebellion led byKashtariti, king of the Medes, against Assyria.
