Anatomical terminology

Thepisohamate ligament is aligament in thehand. It connects thepisiform, asesamoid bone in thewrist, to the hook of thehamate. It is a prolongation of thetendon of the flexor carpi ulnaris.

It serves as part of the origin for theabductor digiti minimi. It also forms the floor of theulnar canal, a canal that allows theulnar nerve andulnar artery into the hand.
