Nicky John Savoie (born September 21, 1973) is an American former professionalfootballtight end who played during one season in theNational Football League (NFL) with theNew Orleans Saints.
Savoie was born inCut Off, Louisiana, and attendedSouth Lafourche High School.[2] He attendedLouisiana State University, where he playedcollege football for theLSU Tigers football team. He was selected by the Saints in the sixth round of the1997 NFL draft.[3] During the1997 NFL season, Savoie appeared in one game with the Saints, making one reception for 14 yards. Savoie later played for theNew Orleans Thunder of the short-livedRegional Football League in 1999 and theHouston Marshals of theSpring Football League in 2000.[4]
