Nathalie "Natacha"Régnier (born 11 April 1974) is aBelgian actress. She received aCannes Film Festival Award, aEuropean Film Award, and aCésar Award for her role in the 1998 filmThe Dreamlife of Angels. Régnier is the first Belgian actress to win aCésar Award.
Born inIxelles, a municipality ofBrussels, she was attracted to theatre from early adolescence. Her first screen role was inThe Motorcycle Girl (1993), a short film by Stéphan Carpiaux. After that, she played a number of roles for French television.
In 1998 Régnier andÉlodie Bouchez received thePrix d'interprétation féminine (Best Actress) at the1998 Cannes Film Festival for their roles inLa vie rêvée des anges byErick Zonca.[1]
