Nabil M. A. Swelim (Arabic:نبيل ﺳﻮﻳﻠﻢ; 1930 – September 23, 2015)[1] was an EgyptianEgyptologist who specialized in the study ofpyramids.
Nabil Swelim first embarked on a career as an officer in the Egyptian Navy. He graduated with a bachelor's degree from theEgyptian Naval College.
He discovered the moat surrounding thePyramid of Djoser and thePyramid of Sinki.
He was part of a team of archaeologists who visited Bosnia to investigate theBosnian pyramid claims.[2]
He is the father of the art historianTarek Swelim.
