Megastigmidae is a family ofchalcid wasps in the orderHymenoptera. There are about 12 genera and more than 170 described species in Megastigmidae. Megastigmidae was formerly considered a subfamily of the familyTorymidae.^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4]
