Lithium triflate (lithium triflouromethanesulfonate orLiOTf) is asalt with the chemical formula LiCF3SO3. It is composed of the lithium cation (Li+) andtriflate anion (CF3SO3−; TfO−). It is veryhygroscopic. The salt is used inlithium-ion battery production.[1]
