This means the arms have afield (background) that has atincture ofOr which means it is commonly colored yellow, but if it is made out of metal, then gold is used. Thecharge is cross with edges that are designed with araguly edge. It symbolizesforestry andagriculture in the municipality as well as the central location of the north–south and east–west roads through the municipality. The arms were designed by Jarle E.
