Hernando (de)Alvarado Tezozómoc was acolonialNahuanoble. He was a son ofDiego de Alvarado Huanitzin (governor ofTenochtitlan) andFrancisca de Moctezuma (a daughter ofMoctezuma II).[1] Tezozómoc worked as aninterpreter for theReal Audiencia. Today he is known for theCrónica Mexicayotl, aNahuatl history.[2]
