Gagok (Korean가곡;Hanja歌曲) is a genre ofKorean vocal music for mixed female and male voices.[1]

Accompaniments andinterludes are played by a small ensemble oftraditional Korean musical instruments.[2]

It is inscribed inUNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List from 2010,[2] and enlisted asSouth Korean Intangible Cultural Property from 1969.[3]
