Fosco Giachetti (28 March 1900, inSesto Fiorentino – 22 December 1974, inRome) was an Italianactor.
Fosco Giachetti was the protagonist ofLo squadrone bianco (1936), directed byAugusto Genina. He became the leading man inFascist propaganda films such asTredici uomini e un cannone [it] (1936),Sentinelle di bronzo (1937),Scipione l'Africano,Edgar Neville's ItalianCarmen fra i rossi (1939),L'assedio dell'Alcazar (1940) andBengasi (1942). In 1942, he also co-starred inGoffredo Alessandrini's two partNoi Vivi andAddio Kira!.

After the war, he returned to the stage. He worked inSpain withEdgar Neville inNada and inCarne de horca. He had a supporting role in 1959Dino Risi's successful comedyIl mattatore. In 1964, he appeared in anadaptation ofA. J. Cronin's novel,The Citadel.
In 2003, theGalleria Fosco Giachetti inSesto Fiorentino was opened in his honor.
