Sop Buah (also known as Es Buah) is anIndonesianicedfruit cocktaildessert. This cold and sweet beverage is made of diced fruits, such ashoneydew,cantaloupe,pineapple,papaya,squash,jackfruit andkolang kaling (Arenga pinnata fruit), mixed with shaved ice or ice cubes, and sweetened withliquid sugar orsyrup. The type of fruit used in this dessert may vary, some might add any available fruits such asmango,watermelon orlongan — some imported fruits — such aslychee,kiwi,strawberry,pear,peach orgrapes. Other ingredients might be added too, such asagar-agar jelly,grass jelly,seaweed ornata de coco.

Sop buah is a popular drink among Indonesians, especially duringRamadhan as a popular choice foriftar — to break the fast amongIndonesian Muslims.[1] It is quite similar withes campur[2] andes teler although with different contents.
