Emma Tillinger Koskoff (born 1972) is an American film producer. She is best known for her collaborations withMartin Scorsese, including acting as a producer on his filmsThe Wolf of Wall Street (2013),Silence (2016) andThe Irishman (2019).

She is the recipient of aPrimetime Emmy Award and aHollywood Film Award, as well as nominations for twoBAFTA Film Awards and threeAcademy Awards, among other accolades.

Life and career

Tillinger is the daughter of actorsJohn Tillinger andDorothy Lyman. Her paternal grandfather was a German Jew.[1][2] Her younger brother, Sebastian Tillinger, has also been an actor.[3]

Tillinger started her career at Artist Management Group, where she worked for co-founder Rick Yorn.[4] She worked as an assistant for actressUma Thurman and directorPhil Joanou. Afterwards she was assistant to the lateTed Demme, working on Demme's picturesBlow andA Decade Under the Influence.[4]

In January 2003, she joinedMartin Scorsese's production companySikelia Productions.[4] Originally, Tillinger was Scorsese's assistant before she was promoted to Production President in 2006.[4]

Tillinger Koskoff and her fellow producers Scorsese,Leonardo DiCaprio andJoey McFarland were nominated for anAcademy Award for Best Picture for the 2013 filmThe Wolf of Wall Street.[5] She was featured inThe Hollywood Reporter in April 2019, with the article covering much of her work with Scorsese and filming in New York City.[6]
