Del Valle is a placename in theCastaic area ofLos Angeles County, California, United States. TheDel Valle Oil Field (discovered 1940)[1] andL.A. County Fire Department's Del Valle Regional Training Center are located nearby.[2]

DonYgnacio del Valle

The community is named after DonYgnacio del Valle, a wealthyCalifornio ranchero and politician, whoseRancho San Francisco encompassed the site of the community.[3]
