TheCourier-Post is a morning dailynewspaper that servesSouth Jersey in theDelaware Valley. It is based inCherry Hill, New Jersey, and serves most ofBurlington,Camden, andGloucester counties. The paper has 30,313 daily paid subscribers and 41,078 on Sunday.[2][3]

As the fifth-largest newspaper published in New Jersey, theCourier-Post's main competitors areThe Philadelphia Inquirer across theDelaware River inPennsylvania, and theBurlington County Times andSouth Jersey Times inSouth Jersey.[4]

Established in 1875, thePost moved toCamden in 1879. It merged withThe Telegram in 1899 to becomeThe Post & Telegram. In 1926,The Post & Telegram and theCamden Courier consolidated under ownerJ. David Stern.[5][6]

The merged paper was bought by theGannett newspaper chain in 1959.
