Metal in heraldry

Inheraldry,copper is thetincture of metalliccopper. Copper has been introduced inCanadian heraldry. It is considered a metal along withArgent (silver) andOr (gold) and should be depicted as bright, newcopper metal.[1]

While not commonly used, it features prominently in thearms of the City of Whitehorse, Yukon,[2] as well as thecoat of arms of Cyprus.[3]
